Wood chips/mulch is something most people with a garden are familiar with. It makes it easier to maintain flower beds, and it also looks incredibly beautiful, especially as time passes and the wood chips begin to change colour. This 'Wood Chips' yarn is inspired by the various beautiful tones found in the garden after the chips have been spread and left to sit for a few weeks.
Wood Chips is dyed on a super delicious and ultra-soft organic non-superwash merino. With a micron count of only 20.5, it feels like touching butter.
This quality is perfect for sweaters, baby clothes, skirts, scarves, hats, etc. It is not recommended for socks, as the yarn does not contain a stabilizing and strengthening thread that would allow it to withstand wear.
NB! The yarn is hand-dyed in small batches. Therefore, no two skeins are exactly alike. If you have a larger project in mind, remember to order enough yarn for your project, as future dye lots will not be identical to previous ones.
