In garden centers when spring slowly starts to peek through, and in large planters in the city. The pansy, or Viola, is everywhere. With its beautiful yellow center, surrounded by either red, orange, purple, or blue, it is for me a flower that evokes memories.
Pansy / Viola is dyed on a super lovely and ultra-soft organic non-superwash merino. With a micron count of only 20.5, it's like touching butter.
This quality is perfect for sweaters, baby clothes, skirts, scarves, hats, etc. It is not recommended for socks, as there is no stabilizing and strengthening thread in the yarn to withstand being walked on.
NOTE! The yarn is hand-dyed in small batches. Therefore, no two skeins are exactly alike. If you have a larger project in mind, remember to order enough yarn for your project, as future dye lots will not be identical to previous ones.
