Reindeer lichen, or "Deer Moss" in English, is the beautiful grey-blue moss seen in fantasy films or on Christmas decorations. I felt we needed a cool yarn in The Scandinavian Garden Collection, so here it is!
A sock yarn without wool? Say no more! Here you get a beautiful hand-dyed sock yarn, consisting of 80% cupro and 20% nylon. Cupro is a plant-based material, made from the residual material from cotton production. That is to say, stalks and leaves. It is therefore a sustainable material and is super cool and pleasant to the touch.
The yarn is a little heavier than similar sock yarns, but with a yardage of 380 metres per 100g, you still have enough for a pair of socks in even the largest sizes.
