Blodbøg, or Blood Beech in English, is inspired by the beautiful deep, red-purple colors of the blood beech leaves. Especially during the summer months, the trees stand in strong contrast to all the green. Dyed on a tencel base, the yarn gets a beautiful heavy drape with variation that gives it a mature, yet captivating expression.

Tencel is a soft, comfortable and breathable yarn that is pleasant against the skin. Both because of its cooling effect and its silky surface. This makes it the perfect summer yarn. Tencel itself is a heavy yarn, so it is also perfect for accessories such as shawls.

This yarn is available in both a 4 ply version and a DK version, so you have the opportunity to choose exactly the thickness that suits your project.
